About Us

“Gold Coast Master Rowers Inc” is a Non-Profit, Incorporated, Community Rowing Club registered with "Rowing Queensland Inc", and based at SportsHouse BoatShed, Varsity Lakes QLD since January 2009.

With humble beginnings in 1997 from a backyard on Lake Heron, Burleigh Waters and later with “Somerset Boat Club” based at Bond University, “Gold Coast Master Rowers Inc” was Incorporated on 10 September 2004, but had no home, borrowed boats & oars and the 6 remaining Founding Members did not compete in our distinctive blue, yellow & white colours until February 2009.

With a growing number of Members, we support Recreational & Competitive Rowing development at all levels for Men and Women. Our member's come from Brisbane to Murwillumbah.
